Daddy Cuddles

When we walked into Phoenix's cubicle today, we could hear that she was wide awake and makin' little noises. When we pulled back her cover, we saw that she had scooted herself halfway out of the little blanket-pool they made for her. Being uncooperative seems to be her MO. She was checking out her surroudings, and (like the terrible parents that we are) we both laughed at her when she looked at her nose tube and crossed her tiny eyes. She is too fun.

Medical update:
Not much to report today. But the cardiologist came to check out her PDA, and found out that it has gotten smaller -- praise Jesus! They aren't going to treat her medically at this point ... they are just going to keep an eye on it.

Nixie had another field trip today ... this time into the arms of her daddy. I pretty much melted into a puddle watching him cuddle with her. From what I have observed, he definitely has an ease with babies, more so than I do. But today he looked like he was created to hold this tiny girl ... it was awesome.
